About 24 of the HBC Singers took part in a new venture which involves singing as a kind of "Greek chorus" in a play performed at Q Theatre in the city. Called "The Events" it is a piece of contemporary theatre by Scottish writer, David Greig, dealing with the aftermath of tragic events & about the limits of forgiveness & community healing. There is a different choir on stage at each performance ( 22 choirs, in all ). The choirs did not know the play's script & will reacted naturally, as an audience as well as singing at crucial times.
